The Cowork allowlist
has been removed

There is no allowlist. Older versions of WordPress for Cowork asked you to add your domain to a list of allowed domains inside Claude Desktop, then fully restart it. That step is gone — Claude reaches your site through the connector the plugin builds for you, and no domain list is involved.

If you were sent here by an older guide, a bookmark, or a search result, the current instructions are: How to connect your WordPress site.

What replaced it

  1. Install the plugin on your WordPress site.
  2. Paste your licence key in wp-admin → Cowork.
  3. Download the connector it builds and drop it into Claude Desktop.

No domain lists, no restart-to-refresh-the-cache, no setup command.

If something is blocking the connection

Because there is no allowlist, a connection failure is almost always your host or a security plugin refusing REST API authentication rather than anything on Claude’s side. Start with Security plugin is blocking the connection, or the guide for your host.
