Jetpack’s brute-force protection occasionally challenges Cowork Bridge calls. Two ways to handle it.
Temporarily disable Protect during setup
- Jetpack → Settings → Security → Protect.
- Toggle off during
/wp-setup. - Toggle back on after pairing completes.
Or allowlist your IP
- Jetpack → Settings → Security → Protect → Whitelist.
- Add your Cowork desktop IP address.
Other Jetpack modules
Image CDN, Site Stats, Subscriptions, etc. don’t interfere with Cowork Bridge. You can leave them all on.
