/wp-design
build pages from descriptions

/wp-design generates full page layouts from a description and pushes them into WordPress as native Gutenberg blocks. Used for landing pages, marketing pages, and anywhere you want a real designed layout instead of a wall of text.

The basic shape

Tell Claude what you want:

“Build me a landing page for a photography service. Hero with my logo + a tagline, a gallery grid showing 8 sample images, a pricing table with 3 tiers (Starter $99, Pro $249, Premium $499), a testimonials section with 3 quotes, and a contact form at the bottom.”

Claude generates the page using Gutenberg blocks (Group, Columns, Image, Heading, Paragraph, Buttons, Cover, etc.) so it edits cleanly in the Block Editor afterward.

Match an existing design

“Look at stripe.com and recreate that color palette and font style on this landing page.”

Claude fetches the URL, extracts the design tokens (colors, font families, spacing), and applies them to your new page.

Iterate after

Once the page is live, ask for tweaks: “Make the hero text larger.” “Move the pricing table above the gallery.” “Use a darker background on the testimonials section.” Claude updates the blocks in place.

Pages vs whole-site theme changes

Use /wp-design for individual page layouts. For site-wide visual changes (header, footer, navigation, global styles) use /wp-theme instead.
