Kinsta is fully compatible with WordPress for Cowork. No special setup. Two helpful things to know.
Restart PHP if you see 500s after a big edit
The MyKinsta dashboard has a Tools → Restart PHP button. If you ever see persistent 500 errors after Claude runs a substantial change, a PHP restart clears them. Most of the time you won’t need this — but it’s there.
Caching
Kinsta caches pages aggressively but leaves the REST API untouched, so the Cowork Bridge route is always fresh.
Geo-block list
Rare, but: make sure your Cowork desktop IP isn’t on Kinsta’s temporary geo-block list. If /wp-setup fails with a connection error and everything else looks right, raise a Kinsta ticket and ask them to check.
Install
wp-admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload cowork-bridge.zip, Activate. Check Cowork → Status.
