DreamHost works out of the box on every plan. One edge case worth knowing.

ModSecurity bulk operations

DreamHost’s ModSecurity rules occasionally flag bulk operations — for example, asking Claude to update 50 products at once. If you hit a 403 on a multi-step task:

  1. Open a DreamHost support ticket.
  2. Ask them to whitelist outbound traffic for your account, or to relax ModSecurity for /wp-json/coworkmcp/*.

For single requests this isn’t an issue.

Install

wp-admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload cowork-bridge.zip, Activate. Cowork Bridge installs and runs on all DreamHost WordPress plans.
