Terms of Service
plain English summary

This is a plain-English summary of our Terms of Service. The full legal text is at /terms-of-service/; in case of any difference, the full text governs.

What you can do with WordPress for Cowork

  • Use it on your own WordPress sites without any per-site charge.
  • Use it for client work — every tier supports unlimited WordPress sites, including client sites. Tiers differ only in how many human users have seats (Solo = 1, Agency = 5, Enterprise = 6+).
  • Modify the bundled mu-plugins for your own infrastructure (they’re proprietary but you can edit your local copy).

What you can’t do

  • Redistribute the .plugin file or the cowork-bridge.zip.
  • Reverse-engineer the license-validation system to bypass it.
  • Share one license across more humans than the seat count allows.
  • Resell the plugin under a different name (white-labelling isn’t permitted on standard tiers).

What we promise

  • Updates within your major-version line at no extra cost.
  • 14-day refund window, no questions asked.
  • We don’t see or store your WordPress content.
  • If we get breached, we’ll tell you within 72 hours.

What we don’t promise

  • That WordPress for Cowork will work on every WordPress install in every configuration (we list common host compatibility in the host-specific guides).
  • That it will work forever if WordPress itself makes breaking changes (we’ll update, but we can’t guarantee zero-downtime).
  • That Anthropic’s pricing or Cowork’s behavior won’t change — we don’t control that.

Liability

Our liability is capped at what you paid for the license. We strongly recommend testing on a staging site before running destructive operations on production. The plugin’s pre-flight backup prompt exists for exactly this reason.

Termination

Your license is perpetual within its major version. We can terminate for material breach (commercial redistribution, automated abuse) with notice. You can stop using the plugin any time by deactivating it on your WordPress site and removing it from Cowork.
