WordPress is one-time-purchase territory. WordPress itself is free. Most premium WordPress themes and plugins ship as one-time-purchase licenses with optional renewal-for-updates. We fit that model better than the SaaS subscription model.
What you’re paying for
- The license: permission to run WordPress for Cowork on your own infrastructure.
- Support, maintenance & updates: 1 year included — every new version released in that year, plus support by ticket, AI chat and the knowledge base.
- More than 200 tools today, and any added while your support, maintenance & updates is active.
What runs on your infrastructure (so we don’t have to charge for it)
The WordPress for Cowork plugin and the MCP endpoint run on your WordPress host. We don’t pay for your hosting, we don’t relay your requests, and we don’t store your content. That means our ongoing cost per customer is small enough to absorb in a one-time price.
What you pay Anthropic separately
Possibly nothing. Claude’s Free plan connects one website. If you want Cowork mode or more than one site, Claude Pro at $17/mo billed annually ($20/mo monthly) is the minimum. That subscription is between you and Anthropic — we don’t see it, and the plugin doesn’t change based on which Claude plan you have.
After the first year
Renewing support, maintenance & updates is optional: Solo $39/yr, Agency $129/yr, Enterprise $23 per seat per year. If you don’t renew, the plugin keeps working and keeps the version you already have. We’re not trying to surprise anyone.
