WordPress is one-time-purchase territory. WordPress itself is free. Most premium WordPress themes and plugins ship as one-time-purchase licenses with optional renewal-for-updates. We fit that model better than the SaaS subscription model.
What you’re paying for
- The license: permission to run WordPress for Cowork on your own infrastructure.
- Updates within the major version line: v6.0.1 → v6.0.2 → v6.x.y all included.
- The 125 tools today and any added during the v6.x line.
- Support: ticket + AI chat + knowledge base for the lifetime of your major version.
What runs on your infrastructure (so we don’t have to charge for it)
Cowork Bridge and the MCP endpoint run on your WordPress host. We don’t pay for your hosting, we don’t relay your requests, and we don’t store your content. That means our ongoing cost per customer is small enough to absorb in a one-time price.
What you pay Anthropic separately
Claude Pro at $17/mo annual is the minimum plan that supports Cowork mode. That subscription is between you and Anthropic — we don’t see it. Whatever Claude Pro tier fits your usage is fine; the plugin doesn’t change based on which Claude plan you have.
Major-version upgrades
If we ship v7 down the road and existing v6.x customers want to upgrade, we’ll offer a renewal discount rather than full price. We’re not trying to surprise anyone.
